I'm not being over-dramatic. Calm down, no one is brainwashing anyone. I did not imply that women are stupid, in fact some of them are very smart as they can ruin your life and send your ass to jail if they set their mind to it. If you don't believe the rape accusations, then look at the "college rape culture", how the rolling stones trumpeted this "gang rape" and the ensuing witch hunt.

Sure, I agree that as of today, vastectomy is a guaranteed way to avoid having kids. But what I'm saying is that by having an LTR (or even a short term relationship), she's not holding your kids hostage (you have a vastectomy), but she's holding your life/career/social reputation as hostage. She could hit herself and claim domestic abuse, she could accuse you of rape, say, 6 months ago but she was "too intimidated by you to come forward". Who do you think the court would believe?

This is one of the reasons why men go their own way... we don't participate in the "gaming the system" or the hookup game because we're sick and tired of all the one-sided demands, commitments and risks. Think about it, what does a woman risk when she's entering a relationship? (other than lost time?)

I did a scalpel vas and in retrospect probably would have gone with a no scalpel procedure. I think I had worse pain than average, so YMMV. That said:

Day 1: feel a bit like you've been kicked in the balls ALL DAY. Don't feel like walking anywhere. Hobbling around like an old man.

Day 2: can gently walk around, no more major pain

Day 3: starting to feel normal, can walk to the store/etc., but NO bike riding, heavy lifting, or other major activity for 2-3 weeks. No ejaculation for a week.

Be sure to ice a ton. I was icing like 15 minutes on, 15 minutes off, repeat, most of the day. Take ibuprofen for swelling, 400mg every 6 hours bare minimum. Wear briefs/boxer briefs for support for a week or more.

Overall, it wasn't comfortable or fun, but it was totally worth it. No more worry about an "oops" moment. No chance of paying 300K+ to raise a kid.
