I love it. I have the types of friends who I can go for months without saying anything to and then as soon as we meet we just carry on talking as if its been 5 minutes since we last saw each other. It's nice because I never have to worry about losing a friend or anything like that. They never get mad at me for neglecting them, etc.

I grew up with a mum who just nagged and bitched at me every day, I've had enough of that for a lifetime.

This has been my experience.

I'm not emotional, so it doesn't bother me that strangers and acquaintances don't care about me. It's liberating. It frees me to spend my time and attention on things that actually matter to me.

Life gets better when you sever the connection between what others think about you and your self-worth.

Seriously. Its amazing. I do what I want and no one cares. No one I need to contact frequently no places I can or cant go or things I can or cant do.
