I ride with Uber frequently, I always sit up front and converse with the drivers. Ask them how their night has been, have they been busy etc etc.

EVERY driver complains about women and I have heard some absolute horror stories. Whether they think they are entitled to someone else's ride, or throw up in the car, or feigned sexual assault because the driver asked them to leave the car, to even sexually assaulting the male drivers. I really have heard it all.

Only just this past weekend a driver was telling me about his friend who had to go to court because a girl claimed (in her own testimony) that he finger-raped her while he was driving the car. Obviously this claim did not hold up to any scrutiny with it being virtually impossible to get inside a girls pants in the back seat whilst being able to control and navigate a car. It almost ruined the poor guys life though.

It is not surprising that feminists are now fighting Uber because of many drivers no-b.s policy. This field of work in particular seems to highlight the callous and solipsistic nature of women, man have I heard some red pill truths in those car journeys.

Yeah this whole uber/lyft phase you westerners are doing has been done in just about every single country in the eastern hemisphere with greater results and less bs. It's a working system until it reached the west.

It's impossible for us to know if this woman is lying or not, but if you read past articles about Uber you will know that the people running it are not exactly saints and I wouldn't be surprised if some of what she said was true. In any case:

Uber's cutthroat and aggressive tactics has allowed it to quickly disrupt the industry. I'm not sure a company that was above-board could have done it.
People who drive for Uber tend to be financially clueless and don't realize how little they can actually make. I've had people driving Lexus, BMW, and Mercedes come to pick me up. One guy was a tech CEO who lost his job and was on the rebound.
Initially, I thought Uber/Lyft were great ideas that would return some freedom to the average working driver - not having a direct boss and truly flexible hours. Something positive in a world where we are mostly slaves
Uber's real strategy is to constantly rotate people in and out of the system for a few years as drivers leave after they realize they are making like minimum wage after expenses, and then move on to driverless cars. So the above point is an illusion
I have been riding uber pool almost every workday now and have made on interesting observation. If you ride uber pool, then you know it's rude to make the car wait because you are paying very little and you are wasting both the driver's and potentially other riders' time. Now, both men and women have been guilty of this, but definitely way more women than men - and the long waits are always - women. And they are never apologetic.

I don't want to be an Uber driver. They have to be on the cutting edge of deteriorating relations between the genders. Women are going to make such a mess of it that drivers can't be recruited.

Taxis are well unionized. If uber founders cabs need to charge women more under the table and conspire against them.

I say this knowing full well a cabi is probably a man. Ain't like women work.
