He was sick, no doubt about that, but the predatory charges were dropped (the most serious by some accounts) because of the testimony by the primary accusers. Can't admit you went along with it to further your career AND call it predatory in a court room.

Still, the casting couch won't ever go away. I guarantee many young actors/actresses still participate because they know it's the only way they'll make it.
