Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, Enchiridion by Epictetus, The Power of now by Eckhart Tolle. All three will fundamentally change you. I would go through all three if I were you.

Do NOT buy “self-help” books unless they’re from people who became successful before they wrote said books.

Pick a topic, and search for the “best” books about that subject, and read ten of the books.

There isn't one. The books are regurgitated plagiarism. Read one and you're hooked and buy another. I'm low maintenance and therefore live well within my means because of experience not anything I read about and I do read as a hobby among other things.
