Whoever wrote this can speak for himself. There is no "marriage strike", at least not for me and other mgtows. Strike implies we could come back to the plantation. There is no negotiation, there is no bargaining, there is no going back. Women have played their hand - their true nature is exposed for the world to see, and it is ugly as sin. Women and this shitty society that has enabled their behavior can all go fuck themselves into the ground.

I'm not on strike. I am living my life. If someone wants to waste their life providing for an ungrateful woman, then it's not my problem. If that's the only thing that gives meaning to your life, then some introspection is in order, me thinks. Being on marriage strike, is like being on hunger strike on death row. The idea is to end the death row, not make it more "humane". But, hey, maybe that's just me. Maybe every man really needs a nagging wife to make their lives have meaning.

I think some men just don't get it. Women stopped giving a fuck about what most men want or need the moment men were stripped of the ability and tools to discipline them.

Not sure if Calhoun's Mice Utopia can be stopped. We have one generation, perhaps two and then it is all over, societal entropy.

I am building a future for myself and my kids. I would like to improve the situation for my son, should he choose to get married, and I would like my daughter to not grow up to be a stereotypical useless entitled bitch, but I doubt I'll ever get married again.

There is an analysis by Coltwine which suggests the current marriage situation is simply a reaction to introduction of the birth control pill in the 60s. You can't fix marriage without addressing that

Well, that poster certainly doesn't speak for me.

Marriage is an outdated religious institution, and it needs to die. Getting married just makes things more complicated and makes it harder to end the relationship in case things don't work out.

Women can work now and provide for themselves. There is no need for a marriage contract. If two people want to live together and have children together, that's good, but there is no reason to get married. Just live together.
