I'm a married man..I could write an essay (but I won't) going into a the very long series of events about how I ended up here in MGTOW and why I continue to stay here. You can search through my posts to find a few of my first posts here in reply to some guy where I share my story about my marriage...

The short version is: I first stumbled across MGTOW as I noticed drastic changes in my marriage. I was alarmed and confused as I had been doing everything right from the blue pill perspective. Seriously, I've been ticking all the boxes. I am a great dad, I am successful. I've built a business over the past ten years that puts us well in upper middle class, I help out around the house, treat her as an equal blahblahblah but none of that seems to matter. I was alarmed at how different my wife was after a year of marriage to before getting married. I was looking for answers. MGTOW videos on youtube began to pop up and I found here.

That's the short version anyways.

My marriage is still shit, She put on a lot of weight and hasn't lost it yet..where as I've mostly replaced sex with gym.. This is a constant battle for us. She doesn't do what I actually expect her as a wife to do completely either.. I've learned to spot my wife's bullshit way better and call her out on it so in some respects it has improved. I am way more assertive than ever before, I take the lead and I do not let her play mind-games with me.

For this reason I stay and continue to read because it really has benefited me in my personal and professional life. My business is female dominated. This place has really helped make me be more aware of the way women act, behave, think and just downright manipulate people.

Furthermore I enjoy the masculine environment and pretty open and honest atmosphere here. I'm sorry I'm married and that some how offends you or you think I don't deserve to be here.. I wish I wasn't married too. I cannot leave my kids though that's something I personally just cannot do. I'm going to stick around and be in my kids life especially my sons until the day the legal system possibly tears me apart.

This place has opened my eyes to just how little power I have in that regard and I am thankful for that.

MGTOW is a philosophy, not a group to join, or a club. If they gain something from it or I can in some way lend some support to them, then I will. I encourage you to do likewise. MGTOW is an individuals road, not a group think.

I'd say the 2 groups that need mgtow the most are guys going through divorce/custody bullshit and guys going through false accusations/stalking/psycho ex-gf reputation ruining shit.

After these 2 primary groups, I'd say married men stand to gain the most from mgtow. Even if you feel trapped in a marriage or doubtful that going your own way is the right choice for you, the insights from mgtow can make marriage far more tolerable and navigable.

I bet a lot of the married guys are just trying to see if they can ride out their marriage without ending up in jail or bankrupt or having their kids getting fucked up from psycho wife divorce bullshit. That's a worthy cause in my opinion, and I welcome married dudes who are seeking guidance from the mgtows who have faced this shit before.

I'm happily married and I lurk on this sub for the reason that I consider MGTOW to be a rational and logical response to the shitshow that is modern society.

Finding a woman worth marrying is like trying to find a pube in an afro. I totally understand why men are opting out en masse and if I should ever be single again may very well join the gang.

This place helped me go from the end of an abusive relationship, helped me see the problems for what they are, it’s a bit short sighted considering this place “saved my life” to want rid of married men, I’m now a few years in my journey, getting past the rage, starting to rebuild myself and fighting the urges of my body, these married men serve as a warning and a reminder to me about the day to day behaviours of living with women. Let them stay, they are part of my therapy, dangzagnut (thanks mate) will keep them in check. Peace

I like the input of married men. They are more experienced and insightful on average than most posters. The fact that married men are finding out about MGTOW ideas is a testament to its traction. They may have reasons that make divorce a poor choice at this time, but they can take steps to guard themselves and limit being taken further advantage of both financially and emotionally.

At the end of the day, I’d rather more men be helped than less so I encourage them to keep reading and sharing advice.

I think a lot of mgtows can learn from the mistakes that married men have made. Specially for the younger guys that might think about finding their unicorn. Also some married men provably are stuck in the cheaper to keep her category. And married men can learn for the information here. Married men just can't be MGTOW. They can be red pilled though.

I've noticed it too. I personally don't mind seeing married men dabbling in MGTOW. At least it shows that they're interested, and perhaps want to learn more. I say we welcome them. Perhaps we can convince them to take the red pill and go their own way. MGTOW is for MEN. All men. Whether it's the blue pill simp who discovers us for the first time. Or the married man who stumbles on us by accident. We were all once blue pilled before we became MGTOW. Some were married, some in the process of getting divorced, some already divorced, and some in their teen years, looking to get married. Either way, we're all men at the end of the day.

If a married guy wants to post/comment something useful and on topic/relevant here, then I see no problem.

Now, where's the stopping point? Should we welcome females and feminists here? If they contribute productively, then yes. However, it's kind of by definition that they will not. Married men are not in the category to nearly the same degree.

To OP let me explain it to you. Some of us got married because we weren’t red pilled. Then something changes in the marriage that we can’t explain and believe the circumstances are unique to us. In our effort to find a solution, we stumble across red pilled knowledge (for me it was Rollo Tomasi). I then learned about MGTOW and it felt like an epiphany. BUT, I’ve been married for 16 years and have two kids (12,9) whom I will not give up being a full time parent to. I choose to suffer so they don’t have to. So my MGTOW journey is not perfect but it is relevant and because I choose to stay married given my circumstances is a testament to what constitutes being a true man. I’ll assume you are young because of how narrow minded your post is. Instead of judging, you should be welcoming. Married men are as valuable resource here as the soldier on the front lines of battle reporting to his superiors.

I've learned so much from MGTOWs who are in marriages and who are divorced. Even though I have been single and not married for all of my life, I welcome their participation and sharing their experience.
