I’ve seen a lot of post from younger guys lost. These men seem to think their world is ending, either because a women left them or because they can’t find a women to be with. For younger men especially I believe this is such a blessing for you gentlemen. You are here with the internet with thousands of like minded men willing to chat with you about their lives.

So I’m asking men, if you could have lived your life differently. What would you have done to set your present self up in life?

I’ll start off, I’m middle aged and if I had stayed in the military I would have had a pension already. You can get one at 20 years in, full medical for the rest of your life, and you can shop at the commissaries anywhere, they even have military only rv parks. For retiring from the military, I entered at 18 so at 38 I was eligible for this, now I think about it wtf? Secondly I’d been able to grab a federal or state job and grab another pension eventually through that, and have two pensions all before I was 50. Nobody told me this stuff, or maybe I wasn’t listening. Either way you gentlemen, do yourselves a favor and listen and do.
