I am not trying to be an asshole or anything, but why are you still talking to her? There is a reason why you two broke up, right? Why are you trying to cling on to something that you admit is over? Seriously, ghost her, and ghost her right now.

This is the time you need to work on yourself, and better yourself. It has been said on this /r/mgtow forum many times, don't be bitter, be better. Heed that advice because it works.

My advice to you:

ghost her (as per /u/Oldschool085)
concentrate on building yourself up
go to the gym, work on your physical health
read and do things you wanted to do but didn't have a chance to do
don't rationalize contacting the ex-girlfriend, or wanting to contact her, just do not contact her at all

She was never yours, it was just your turn. It's over, you certainly can't expect her to show any consideration for your feelings now, nor is it reasonable to expect a woman to keep her word. The expression "it's a woman's prerogative to change her mind" is still seen as a reason for them to do pretty much anything that their fancy leads them to do. Some might advise that you fuck one of her friends/people she had a bad history with by way of payback. I would strongly advise against it, as that will just draw you into her world as an "angry orbiter" even more. Just ghost, completely and utterly.

Yeah man. GHOST. They FUCKING HATE NC (no contact). Shes desperately starving to elicit a response from you, especially a negative one. You rejected a woman. They fucking HATE YOUR GUTS when you do that.

It doesn't matter how you did it. Even a slight dismissal from a man to a strange woman in a bar will get you 'bum rushed' out the door.

Without the power to control you though sex, they have no power at all. Unless you have a great excuse like "I'm married" (which, I don't even know if that works anymore) or "I'm gay"; which let's their ego 'off the hook'; they want you dead because you are a walking living reminder that all they have is a wet hole. It's like holding up a mirror to a vampire. It sees nothing. No substance. At this moment, it know's it's an empty shell.

Ghosting is all you can really do. Any engagement with a narcissist in this situation is asking for HELL. Women can NEVER leave a relationship without first making sure they destroy the man and leave him empty and left for dead. And since you told her what it is that will hurt you (btw, she already knew it would but you confirmed it) she went and did EXACTLY that.

Giving her any fuel will only result in more hamstering and manipulation (at least) and she could be baiting you into a fight with this other guy.

Giving no fuel at all drives them absolutely bat shit fucking crazy. You just have to trust in this because they will not show you. They want to pretend life is a big box of awesome to see if they can get you jealous. And even if you aren't, they wont believe you anyway.

Narcissists cannot generate internal esteem/validation. It only comes from outside sources. Not giving her any attention makes her feel so empty and used and absolutely dead inside. GOOD.

Should have stopped caring. When in a break up, never let a woman know what will hurt you, cause she'll do exactly that.. once you aren't there for her anymore, she doesn't care and most likely is out for a way to hurt you..
