Many people who criticize MGTOW love to say, "A true MGTOW would be out doing their own thing, not sitting on the computer and discussing it." Obviously you guys understand how ridiculous this is but I'd like to share my thoughts on why we need communities like these.

First off, MGTOW goes against how society wants you to behave. You will be shamed and make people angry because you do not conform to the status quo. It helps tremendously to have a group of like-minded guys who will not shame and belittle you for your lifestyle. A man who "does his own thing" without a group of like-minded individuals to communicate with would likely end up feeling isolated and alone in the world.

The atheism community goes through the same struggles. People say, "A true atheist would just not believe in God and leave it at that." Same problem, without talking to people who share your beliefs, you begin to question them and feel bad for having them.

The most important reason for these groups is that people wouldn't find them otherwise. I wouldn't have become MGTOW if there hadn't been a vocal group of people out there to make me question what I knew to be true. Of course the same thing goes for the atheism community. All in all, groups that speak the truth will continue to grow and men will continue to wake up one by one.
