Working can be a fullfilling activity on its own as a man, some man are the work type and they prefered lifestyle is just to be in a constant state of work.
Im not one of them btw im a lazy pothead xD.
Also even if clown society doesnt deserve a drop of my sweet theres still my family a friends i could do stuff with with money i guess.
Another thing is that America is the best society to do that but in poorer countries its not possible or very hard to simply live out of minimum wage or wealthfare, you dont know how good you have it in america economicly.

I work because I want options and power. I don't want others to have the options to look down on me. I want them to hate me out of jealousy and not contempt.

I want the option to curve women and their advances.

I want guys to aspire to be like me.

I want to show people that I choose to not need them.

It's a pride and ego thing. I want my win for myself. It's a part of my competitive and grandiose nature.

I also work because I have a huge curiosity about learning and seeing if I'm able to achieve certain things.

I also work because I value my freedom. If my city becomes crooked, car breaks down, state becomes overpopulated, health gives out, or any other setback happens it won't make me flinch or stress me out.

I can buy a new house, or car, or have all bills paid for.

I will be comfortable and ready.

My bare minimum living expenses are about the same as yours, but I have other shit I like to do other than work. Traveling is my big ticket hobby, and that shit doesn't pay for itself. Even if I do the most economical way possible like use my own car and go camping, it still costs money to get supplies, put gas in the tank, and pay the campground I'll go to.

I'd rather work a regular job for 1-2 years at a time while remaining minimalist and saving about 20-30k per year. This will give me money to invest in stocks/real estate and money to do cheap backpacking trips. I don't think I will ever have a family but I probably would in the '50s/60's, more worthwhile back then. Globalism is making wages low and expenses high so a family just doesn't add up anymore.

Pretty much just saving money until I can find a way out. Plan on buying a trailer, a plot of land and then opening a small business of my own. Not quite sure about the business yet but I figure I may as well work for myself rather than others. I don’t need much money to be happy anyway.

The working life really does suck in some ways but luckily I’m in construction which is much better than many other work environments. I don’t understand these guys working stressful 60 hour weeks just to pretend to enjoy the weekend. Friday night is drinking, Saturday is hangover/errands, Sunday is cleaning/stressing about Monday.

Like hell im going to do that until I’m a senior citizen.
