My hashtag and coinage is #shebagging. As "woman spreading" sounds like it could be a good thing. Started it, oh, a couple years ago noticing this sort of bag on seat shit on the Washington DC Metro. Currently, there's a lot of German speakers tweeting to it, as in Germany they take that whole man-spreading thing a lot more seriously than, say, migrant rape gangs.

On the rare occasions I have to ride the subway my route usually takes me through a very ritzy area. There are certain demographics of women who shall remain nameless and this is what they do: sit in the seat closest to the doors which are clearly marked for "elderly and disabled" as well as arranged to allow room for wheelchairs and walkers. These stupid ass thots will then park their ginormous shopping bags (usually three) on the seat, taking up one themselves, effectively taking up four seats. They will then stretch their legs out (can't have any creeps in wheelchairs taking up their precious space), bury themselves in their phones, and completely ignore anyone who needs one of those seats or spaces. Cunts.

The local pub I go to is always crowded and it’s tough to get a seat at the bar. I see women do this all the time. I usually just ask “is anyone sitting here?” And they usually move their shit.

A couple times I got a reply like “sorry, I’m saving it for a friend. I just put their purse on the bar and say “we don’t do that here.” And sit down.

This is annoying but I have never had a problem asking if someone was sitting in the space so I could sit there. I am always polite and respectful when I do and I have never had a problem getting the seat.
