It's to do with market research groups. They've identified women as a market as being appealed to with depictions of infidelity, emasculation of their husbands, or "that dream hunk they remarry", hence why there's such an apparent trend gearing towards things like this.

Heineken is fucking disgusting in my opinion. There aren't many beers that make me gag with every sip, but Heineken is 1 of them.

These commercials have had spotlights on ABC news and the like from what I've dug up. Some of them are cool. I don't mind the one that ABC highlighted where they brought a feminist and a male rights activist into a warehouse to build a bar table together. Meh.

I haven't seen the "break tradition" one yet, but that shit does strike a chord with me.
