Even while I was 7 or 8 I knew where my dad kept his guns. They were 100% accessible by my brother and me. Still neither one of us ever touched his guns. We just knew fucking better. Now that I'm an adult I know some of them were my grandfathers and my late uncles guns which will be passed to me eventually. I doubt I'd be getting them passed down to me if i did some dumbass shit like this chick did.

My dad used to bring my sister and I shooting all the time, it was a 20 gauge play around pull down single shot shotgun. Sometimes when my parents would take my sister out to her softball games he’d always tell me where he has it and to use it if anyone had ever tried to break in. Mind you my sister would always piss me off over the years and NOT ONCE, did i ever consider shooting anyone in the in the knee permanently disabling them. I was around the same age 10.. 11 ish... so no its not an excuse. Being 10 as a female.. she technically had a mind set of a 15 year old... quite scary. So no i disagree with you.
