I've noticed this is the general narrative when it comes to dating advice:

Man needs dating advice - "you should self-improve, work out, lose weight, dress better, learn game, earn more money, women don't owe you anything so you have to provide value"

Woman needs dating advice - "girl you're beautiful just the way you are, if a man can't accept you just the way you are, it's his fault and you deserve better, you deserve perfection"

Women get deeply offended if a man has standards for a woman. I believe Rich Cooper (Entrepreneurs in Cars) posted a 6 point checklist of what he expects from a woman on his Twitter. It was something like "1. can cook 2. be feminine 3. don't cheat etc." and Twitter went absolutely berserk, calling him an incel, attacking him for looking like a bald old man, attacking his youtube channel.

Yet if a woman posts the same checklist for a man, no one bats an eyelid. That's considered perfectly fine.
