I don’t recall exactly the first time I came across MGTOW but seemed like it was just 2-3 years ago. I’m a 67 year old guy, single businessman that has traveled very extensively internationally in my work. Married for 16 years to my high school girl friend. I was barely 21 and a student. Ended at the age of 36, with a pretty extreme and unexpected example of plain olde’ monkey branching. Completely caught me unprepared. That changed the course of my life for years to come. Though unaware of MGTOW I took a similar path on my own. I didn’t swear off women entirely but I swore off ever being in a committed relationship again. I just find the game too stupid and troublesome to play it. And I unexpectedly found I loved the peace of being single.. That was 40 years ago this May and I’ve never regretted taking that road. I have done very well in my career by most standards. I’ve traveled to Europe maybe 100 times, both in work and leisure.
China maybe 50 times. I could have retired years ago but I love my work and career so much why? I’ve experienced so much when it comes to women and how they are. From Chinese girls to Russian women and to varying degrees they all play the same game. It’s fun to dabble but I’ve never been tempted to get too interested or serious again... I don’t necessarily agree with all the MGTOW doctrine but I do believe men should make themselves very aware of what’s going on when it comes to women. They are not like us... I was unprepared myself and I’m a little disappointed my father didn’t pull me aside at young age and explained the game and suggested how I should play it. I never had a son to explain this to myself but I do have a 6y/o grandson that I see how he is now and will pull him aside and at least explain the game to him so he doesn’t toss away his youth like I did. I just feel we don’t educate young boys to the rules of this game. It’s often hidden. That’s just my two cents worth...
