Hi all,
So I haven't posted here yet apart from the odd comment or two but recently I have seen a lot of posts that I agree with wholeheartedly but I've been a bit late to the show in the comments.

I hate the term toxic masculinity with a passion. It is such a cop-out of an arguement and a buzzword .... basically anything a women doesn't understand or agree with behaviour or psychology wise is lumped into this nice big bubble of "toxic masculinity" that they browbeat men with.

What I find even more infuriating is that it is basically women judging men by women's standards. If this was the other way around women would be up in arms about it, but men are just expected to take the hit and get on with it. A lot of things are down to psychological differences and yet women get to throw it into a bag with all the other things they don't understand/like and beat men up over it... what's even more infuriating is that disagreeing with them is often thrown straight back in your face. I've talked to a lot of women and they flat out refuse the notion of gender dymorphism (even though it's grounded in science and our brains are FUNDAMENTALLY different) and will often skirt around it because it doesn't support their narrative that all men are awful.

To top all of this off they throw in the idea that "toxic masculinity hurts men too" ... to try and pretend that they aren't totally sexist about it and to suck in the male sympathizers and some of them even genuinly believe it. What hurts men more is that women are fundamentally denying psychological differences between how men and women behave.
