so WHEVER i go to the kitchen. the kitchen can be ABANDONED ALL DAY! but my mom RUNS into the kitchen the SECOND i turn on the stove to make some pasta. its like its her superpower.

then she starts making tea, getting in my way asking me potato questions or telling me news stories. i have nicely told her to please stay out of my way when i cook because i get distracted easily and can burn the food.

she then blames me and says i am "sneak eating" by walking out the kitchen when she comes in (i do this because she gets in my way!)

its not just me the SECOND my old man toasts a fucking bagle, she RUNS into the kitchen and starts making tea.

it drives both of us bonkers! also this morning she pulled that shit! but before that she said: "i'm going to the bakery" i say "ok." but she stalls for 3 hours
