Idk what ur financal situation is, but Fayetteville Arkansas and Northwest Arkansas in general is a nice place with plenty of job opportunities . If you go to Texas, I’d avoid Austin and maybe even all the other metro areas there. There are a lot of livable places out side the metro areas with plenty of job options. I’ve watched Austin cripple, and it’s just a mess now. Best of luck man.

Most people fleeing NYC or CA are ending up in states like Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee, or Florida -- for lower-cost of living, better tax situation, better economy, and less of the lefty lunacy. However, the downside of moving to places like that is that everyone else from NYC and CA are moving there, too. They jack up the house prices and spoil the culture of the place by bringing in the crazyness from NYC and CA. So personally, I would avoid going to the same places all the CA and NYC transplants are headed.

I think it's important to give this a lot of thought, because the consequences can be pretty significant. Think about what are "musts" for you, in terms of location. What are the absolute essentials, the things that would be deal-breakers if they were missing. Job prospects in your line of work? Educational opportunities? Cost of living? Friendliness of the community? A certain type of politics (or absence of a certain type)? Lots of natural beauty? Recreational/outdoor opportunities? Climate?

Figure out your list of "musts" or absolute essentials. Separate them out from the things that are just nice to have, but not essential. Then try to narrow down your possibilities that way.

Another suggestion is to get on citydata.com forums and look up any particular city. You can get all sorts of data and stats about that city. In addition, they have discussion forums where you can find threads where people will ask, "I'm thinking of moving to _____. What's it like?" You can get a lot of good info from reading those threads (although you have to remember it's just one person's opinion, of course, skewed by their perspective). You can also ask questions yourself on those forums, if you like. Sometimes, I have just googled, "What is it like to live in _______ (Denver or whatever)," and I've gotten plenty of good info that way.

The last thing I'd say is don't underestimate the stress involved with moving to a completely new environment, where you don't know anyone. It is more stressful than a lot of people realize, to pull up stakes, leave everything and everyone you know behind, and set up shop alone in a place where you have no roots, no history, and no connections. You can form those connections over time, of course, but the early going can be tough and lonely sometimes.

Midwest is pretty good rn. Ohio, Ky, Tn, maybe Wv, depending on what you want to get into.

Whatever you do, please do not go to some red state, they are all full up and they are building walls around every neighborhood and hiring armed security services or they are doing it themselves. Do not expect that you can bring that leftist liberal mindset to a new location and be welcomed with open arms. I would actually suggest that you buck the trend and just move on down to Mexico or Puerto Rico. Those are the places that come to mind that might be most like your current home state.

Midwest is very low cost, especially along the major highways.

Coasts are high cost because they are popular and crowded. Mountains are often low cost, but can be expensive if they are too remote due to high transport fees and less competition among stores.

Buses will be better for you. Take some bus trips for practice.

Call centers pay well and you can move to a smaller city and work the hours of your choosing. Since most of on shore sites are located in smaller cities.

Most women do not want to do the trades. Any other fields they will replace you the minute any woman is capable of doing it and wants to do it. Women usually don't like plumbing or welding. Starting to see a lot of women electricians and auto mechanics. Other than that you can open your own business.

If you’re not a high IQ person then think about the lower end of the trades but if you medium to high IQ then think carefully about college.

I reccomend Texas to start. Figure out your career choice. It will be easier to start in a trade there with an apprenticeship. You may not want to stay long term. For that I would say the Midwest should be your final destination.

So pick a state with no state income tax. Texas doesnt, I don't know about north Dakota.

Take the first job you are offered. Work your ass off while applying for other more promising jobs.

Carry minimal hygiene supplies. Buy more when you get there as they are consumable.

Clothes. You wont get anywhere looking like shit. You need a good pair of pants and shirt for interviews. Shoes are on everyone's list of stuff to judge on. Make sure you have one good pair.

Plain colors are preferred in any situation. Make sure your belt and shoes match. Black belt,black shoes etc.

Keep it simple. The less you try to impress, the more you impress. Most people assume if you're that good not trying you must be awesome.

So kick ass and make it look easy. It will give you something to do trying to figure out your follow up routine.
