Pretty much this. I need certification or something ASAP. Willing to study anything at this point, probably some online vocational school or something but I am not interested in fucking "8k hours of experience" I need help

Studying “anything” won’t get you very far. I’m guessing you’ve made a couple of poor decisions and are now having to own up to it.

We have all made mistakes, it’s how you handle yourself after you make them that matters.

There are some tough conversations and decisions for you ahead, but don’t go into something like “graphic design” because you’re not sure what to do or want to have the hard conversations.

Whatever you do give it a lot of thought before jumping into it.

Community college is a pretty good suggestion tbh. Find a college in your state that will accept the credits and pick a major that will yield strong career opportunities.

Computer Science, IT, nursing, engineering (generally, but if you can do engineering — you may as well major in CS), Accounting (if you’re willing to do a CPA). A job is something you do so you can survive, and ideally so you can eventually not have to work.

If you can’t be bothered doing that, look into trade school. Electricians and plumbers make very good earnings.

Don’t try chasing your dream as an occupation. Do something that you can tolerate and that makes decent money. Live below your means and invest your savings. Depending on who you are, you can retire in 20,15, or even 10 years depending on circumstances.

Tbh I did a 3 year degree in international Business and Management in one of the top 5 business schools in my country and it was pretty useless overall, a good experience and you meet tons of contacts that can be helpful one day but what you get to learn is in no way worth it to the price of the degree that's why I stopped and didn't go for the Masters.

You are basically paying a "cool and prestigious degree" not really paying to learn anything new or eye opening.

If you are at a point where you would study anything for the sake of it, seriously just save yourself Time and Money and fake a diploma or something, it will give you the same end result.

I know people who have faked diplomas from foreign universities in the US or Canada and it worked fine for them.

That being said if you want to do it, do it at your own risk knowing its illegal, and since you are 18 I believe, you can't really just show the diploma and say that you just finished a 4 years long degree since it doesn't add up.

In the meantime just get a small job for a year at a fast food chain or something to not be kicked out of your home.

pretend jobs no longer pay money. any job you do, you must do it for free. you must work all day for absolutely nothing. Pick the job that you love most and will be happy to work all day for nothing.

No matter the job, big money can be made in time but that depends on you.

I'd recommend buying two books. Ones called "Bachelor Pad Economics" and the other is "Worthless". Both are by Aaron Clarey. One teaches you how to save money and the other tells you which degrees are worth investing in.

Hey dude, maybe look into getting certifications in cloud computing applications. Stuff like AWS and Salesforce, or getting a project management certification (PMP). With a certification you can at least start looking at contract positions to get your foot in the door and start getting experience before nailing a full time job. These types of jobs are all work from home too but you really need to be effective in your "home office".

F*** all that. Get in apprenticeship. Something like an electrician or a linesman. Most of those are earned as you learn making relatively decent money for two or three years while you study under a master.

Those are in demand jobs and good pay once you can become a journeyman
