The idiot management hired this dumpster fire of a bad hire. She was a female so my coworkers were (rightfully) afraid of retaliation by either her or management (turned out to be both). I was the one with less to lose so I reported her constant misconduct. As predicted, there was retaliation. Management did everything they could to protect her and came up with anything they could to fire me despite having a perfect record and being the supervisor's favorite employee.

I was mad about it for a long time and she continues to create a hostile workplace for my former coworkers with management's protection.

But I quickly found another job that pays $100 more a week, is less than half the commute, and has overtime available. No health insurance offered, but with Covered California, I am able to stay with the same insurance agency offered by my former employer for only a few more dollars a month than what I used to pay. Also my plan is high deductible, so that means I finally have access to a HSA. So I'm hyped about that.

I'm basically doing better than ever now, especially financially. I can go 23 days between fill ups for my hybrid, now have 4 different investments going, and can pay my rent in one week. /#winning
