Yeah, this is pretty much horseshit. I inadvertently started the trend here a few days ago because of my post discussing the "Incel" problem became the top post on MGTOW2. This is a hot issue because of several things, all which were discussed at length in the thread:

"Incel" has become a slur to both condescend to men who can't get a woman, and to even paint them as a threat to society
The number of men being "incel" is increasing dramatically, despite most of them being employed, so the trend is definitely not a case of them being POS losers
Several individuals who are tall, make six figures, and even own their own car/house came on telling their stories of how difficult it is - which only provides anecdotal support to the statistics
Concern trolling (like you are doing here), PUAs, and tradcons posted on the thread their silly ideologies as a response, and they were pretty much all gutted. I know the OP is a mod and might be tempted to rage ban me for this criticism, but unless you have a legit response, the comment stands.

That post really got people thinking, and now that they want to discuss it further, you are concern trolling and shaming. Dumb.

Are you saying a lifelong virgin can't be mgtow?

Yes, especially if said virgin would jump on the opportunity of sex/romantic life if there was an opportunity. I doubt major of virgins who claim to be going MGTOW would ignore a women's advances.

I would say the defining characteristic of an incel is a male who craves sex but through his lack of physical appeal and social ineptitude (maybe other factors) can't get laid. And he is emotionally obsesses with what he percieves as failure and the self-loathing about it.

That's a defining characteristic of many people. Majority of guys lose it in their teens so they don't relate to incels and they don't reach to that point. Many of current MGTOWS would feel the same way if they made it to 25 or 30 and they are still virgins.

I've got no problem with a lifelong virgin saying he was incel but realized the waste of time, energy and self-esteem that was and now wants to go his own way.

But that's not going their own way. They were sent their own way. They just realised that trying is a waste of time and have given up hope but that's not MGTOW.

The problem comes if he is still focused on why women aren't attracted to him and any self-pitying emotions resulting from that.

And that's a problem will exist because he still would have unfulfilled desires. Even if said incel claims he won't bother with women it would still hurt him to see couples or people who have sex. He'd be reminded with what he can't have.
