Okay you have posted about this but I’d still ask do you have more studies which explain the differences in wealth between men and women and why men are also more likely to be rich/involved in politics? What role does sexual selection play in this? Why are women represented well in politics in South Africa and Cuba but not the US? How acceptable is it for women to assault and beat their partners (men) and lastly how many men are out of school worldwide compared to girls?

Hi guys, loving this sub.

I’ve been looking for research about how people of any gender respond the distress signals of a male stranger. By distress signals I mean anything from crying to themselves, an injured man crying out pain, or any other signal that indicate the man in question is vulnerable and needs help. I’m curious about the natural responses other men and women give when they encounter a man in distress. Many people are saying men need to be more vulnerable or even cry more, and I’d like to see some research on exactly how the average man or women responds to a man in distress that they don’t know.

I was blown away by the post "On the Sexual Assault of Men". Is there similar research that factors DV numbers into societal violence numbers? Is the size and weight of the victim a factor in leaving out the possibility that women, by actual numbers and/or psychology, are just as violent society wide (not just more prone as in DV)? Do women WANT to commit violence society wide that they just can't get away with because their victim may be bigger or stronger?

Do you have any studies on happiness within LGBT couples?

I want to know if gay couples report higher happiness levels within their relationships than lesbian couples, which wouldn't surprise me as lesbian couples have 2x as many domestic violence cases and 10x as many sexual violence cases.

I am completing a research project as part of my Forensic Psychology Professional Doctorate with the University of Nottingham which is exploring Domestic Abuse, understanding emotions and childhood experiences.

So, what are the rates of girl-on-boy harassment/abuse and how frequent do they occur vs vice versa? Were there any documented instances of female adolescents sexually assaulting another person?

It doesn’t seem possible for men to oppress women historically, because men and women aren’t groups, live in households together, women have more reproductive value and they do the mate selection. However, we see a different situation in the MENA and central asian areas of the islamic world. How is that patriarchal situation maintained? Is it a good approximate model for how the christian and pre-christian patriarchy was probably set up?

Also Gad Saad writes good books about sociology? I only know him from countless interviews and he comes across as a really really biased, cynical, and promotion oriented actor on the topics I have heard him speak on. Even if I am right, that doesn’t preclude him doing enlightening work, just expressing my personal shock with some banter, lol.
