I never noticed this until after I started unplugging in November. Memorial Day weekend always has brought me down, thinking about buddies I've lost and so forth. But this time was the only time that I had actually thought about what I was letting it do to me. I only wanted to drink and watch TV, ignore my family and be alone. I guess I could have expressed my wants and needs to be left alone but I didn't, and came off as mopey and depressed. I really hated feeling that way and it happens every year. This year was the first time that I realized it and I'll be sure to plan something to do next year to avoid it.
