I have been lurking for a few months now, whilst reading the prerequisites (apart from WISNIFG, which I will read soon).

Stumbled upon MRP from a comment on the front page, so not your typical route in, but once I read the top posts and NMMNG, my eyes were opened and my mind receptive.

Fuck.

Queue, Anger phase. It lasted a week or so and erupted in a semi drunken argument between me and LTR because I made a family friend cry, when I defended my mother over something that wasn't anything to do with her...LTR slept on the couch that night and me in bed, before MRP I would have probably asked her to come up to bed and Beta'd her with apologies etc...but I held fast...

...strangely, although she was pissed off the next day, rough make up sex ensued later that night and all was forgotten.

Anger phase mostly over, I start reading MMSL, things start making sense and more lightbulb moments, increase flirting with LTR, arrange for bathroom leaks and decor to be fixed...hot sex ensues...

...this shit fucking works.

Ok I should mention I Lift and have been for 7 years of the 8 year LTR, back and forth between Powerlifting and Bodybuilding, so I'm in good shape, muscular build, and over 6ft.

I get quite a lot of attention from women when out socialising or at work, and LTR knows it.

She has always placed my SMV above hers, but I place her as equal. We have both put on weight or not trained during the LTR but we are both strong 7's IMO at a Base level, when she gets dolled up and is ovulating she easily passes the 8 mark. If I am in a suit, fresh haircut and wearing Tom Ford cologne, I earn a few extra points too.

Failures:

  1. Got a soft 'no' when initiating sex (for the 3rd consecutive morning) whilst on holiday (vacation). Instead of making a bit of a joke and saying "ok, what about I just put the tip in" or trying it on anyway... I kept prodding her in the back with my boner, which didn't work at all so I just got up and made a cup of tea, to which she replied " oh so you didn't make me one". Which then prompted me to TRY and STFU, but I caved and said some passive aggressive bullshit. (Double fail?)

  2. Still struggling understanding what is and isn't a shit test, so sometimes I just default STFU or say NO...but she might be asking something completely reasonable.

Takeaway so far from MRP: MRP has enhanced my relationship and life in general, so thank you for that, to all those who contribute.

I am still early days into unplugging but fuck me, it's working....

I want to be actively involved here, I feel I can contribute and learn a lot, but wanted to introduce myself.
