About Female 'Inventors'

I just looked at several of these inventions and while it's easily possible that some of them exhibit the classic weaselly language you mentioned, it seems like most of them were pretty clearly invented by the women listed (I just clicked on maybe four or five entries). Could you highlight some examples where it seems like the woman was just in the room?

Here are some that don't seem that way to me:

Obviously some of these inventions are more important than others, and maybe some are quite trivial. But I think you will find that there are indeed many people male and female who continue to lionize Ada Lovelace, Temple Grandin, and Grace Hopper.

What does this have to do with men's rights?

You have a point, but can you connect it to the truth? examine the list and prove that each of these women were frauds, or that their contributions were minimal.

Only heard of two on that list, Marie Curie and Ada Lovelace.

Either the rest are really minor names or I'm just ignorant.

It takes the burden of responsibility and the fear of failure to drive greatest feats. Victimhood does not provide the necessary drive to accomplish. Of course, in the past women and blacks did not have the opportunity, but now they are perpetual victims.

We would see great things from these two "marginalized" groups if failure and success was all of their own doing.

There have been truly great female inventors and scientists. Sure there are people who will make lists like this for political reasons. But I'd be willing to bet that the best scientists are simply proud of being good scientists. No reason to hate on them unless they're being assholes.

I read the one about Harriet Tubman and it reads as though an elementary schoolchild wrote it. Really, really bad.

And I still don't understand why Harriet Tubman was on a list of inventors.
