It's one of the rules of racism, sexism, ageism, "They deserve this because of this, that and the other." People who hate others must justify their hate so they can live with it and seem as they're in the right. The truth is if you hate the Jews, nothing they do or don't do will change your mind. Once you justify it, it gives the reasoning life and a voice. In order to consider it foolish, we must stop accepting the reasoning behind it. Facts are the enemy of racism and prejudice, that's why when you present them the other party gets mad.

With Jewish people, I think alot of it boils down to how they view the world, as either Jewish or Gentile.

That is incredibly racist when you think about it. It is like me as a German American saying there is only two types of people in the world, Germans and Non-Germans.

Given that type of emotion behind it, it is like blood in the water for some crazies. In the end though, antisemitism is a self fulfilling prophecy.

Some people are bigoted towards Jew, so Jewish people naturally respond to it like any people would, but it reinforces in the mind of the bigot their hostility towards Jewish people.

Hate is stupid because it not only destroys others but it destroys oneself. The problem is, alot of people cannot tolerate the fact that we as human beings are different. It is either they have to hate something or embrace it. Never once does the concept that we can coexist in our differences enter into the picture.

Here's another problem with this kind of thinking: No matter what kind of group you're talking about (whites, men, Jews, the rich, etc.) it assumes that because the people in power happen to belong to a particular group, that everyone in the group has the power.

There's a difference between saying that the ones who are in power (meaning running most of the government and corporations) are men, and saying men have all the power.

It is true that you see more men in heads of state and companies, but that doesn't automatically give power to ALL men everywhere.

Just clarifying the disconnect in the logic: The Jews have all the power, so it is only right that we should hate and fear any individual who is a Jew.

I have been saying for years that the leftists (I don't see this as a feminist issue exclusively) are not really for equal rights. They are for redefining acceptable hate.

The most obvious examples are: Jews, Israel, white men, caucasions, hetero sexual's, southern poor and conservatives.

By this argument, it should be the Jews who are under the most attack. I believe they are the best educated and have the highest average salaries of any group in N. America. Yet we never hear about "Jewish privilege." No, it's always white males who are singled out.
