An erection isn't necessary for rape. (A penis isn't necessary for rape)

Most rapists are unable to maintain an erection.

We should be careful not to conflate the various categories of rape, although we must be careful to be aware that feminists do. Even if various forms of rape are over-reported, we can not simply rule any of them out.

Most people are physically unable to murder, but some can. Still this does make the distinction between the normal shriveled willy man, and the rapist whose reaction is the opposite.
