So my ex-fiancée accused me of making a threat against her life. I didn't, but as we all know it's pretty difficult to prove what was said in a private conversation. It's even difficult to prove a conversation never happened. Anyway, now she has a restraining order against me and I thought we should start a thread on good ways to protect yourself legally from false accusations of contact.

Tl;dr how do you keep yourself safe (legally) when a restraining order has been placed against you?
