I really hate that when people claim to fight against racism and sexism, they ironically do what they don’t want. They talk down to men and white people.

I was homeless for about half a year. Women get priority when getting a house. Also, statistically, people are more sympathetic of homeless women than homeless men. Also, in the country I'm currently living in, there are plenty of welfare schemes that support BIPOC people, doesn't matter if they're nationals and have lived here for over 5 generations, if you're BIPOC you are valid for these schemes. A rich BIPOC as eligible for the welfare while a broke white person wouldn't be.

I love my white male privilege.

People are great at coming up with excuses for their own failures..We all have obstacles to overcome in life, just go out there and be better than you were yesterday and stop blaming other people for your own lack of ambitions...

I really would've taken for the crap myself if I didn't experience the exact opposite as a early adult. I ended up homeless in the us when I was 18. The girl I was dating (later found out I was just a money stream and a free baby sitter) and I both became homeless because she took everything I made. She had no problems getting help, but I was left without anything. Went to a bunch of different places looking for help (with food and shelter), but if your a white male there was none to be had. Most only helped women and found one that would help black males, but not a one helped if you were white. Lived behind a mc Donald's for a few weeks till I saved enough to move in a place. In that time period I only had one church (mine) offer me a meal, the rest told me they couldn't help out. After I found a place I found a soup kitchen that served a meal a day, but it was rather far away. On a good note I dropped 40lbs in those weeks.

it’s compensation for Affirmative Action literally reducing them to race and gender and giving them privilege. She wouldn’t be where she is if she wasn’t a black woman.

Umm. As a brown guy, yeah white privilege is a thing.

I do agree that the term is most certainly misused to the bone these days with wokeism and that load of bullshit, but the fact remains, if you're not white you must have come from somewhere and it's always "where did you come from". Also police don't seem to shoot white guys anywhere near as much as black guys.

Sad anecdote:

My white friend and I applied (exact same degrees with 0 experience) to a fair few internships; he got called back to I think 7 of them, for me it was 1. We used the exact same word blue template for the resume and didn't put out scores. Only difference was my name was south asian and his was white lol.

So yeah, there are many aspects of society it helps to be white, while it almost never helps to be brown.

White privileged definitely is a thing just like pretty privilege, female/male privilege, lgbtq privilege and more. It doesn’t mean every aspect if your life is privileged just that I’m certain circumstances you hold privilege over someone else that does belong to that group. White make privileged is simply the most prevalent in society
