I wonder why most of the protagonists of the genres mentioned above are almost always women?

For a change, I want to watch a movie with male protagonist under the genres mentioned. Even in movies/series where the titular character is a male (e.g Dr. Strange/Hawkeye/Loki), the focus of those mentioned make it seem that the females are the actual leads. Nothing against female leads though.
