You're not a long time Simpsons fan are you? The show has made humor out of Bart's academic ineptitude since day one. I'll grant you that that does go right along with how TV has been portraying males for some time now, but Lisa's probably the smartest person in all of Springfield. It's far more nonsensical than misandric.

Plenty of shows make fun of the "blonde bimbo" characters too. Its a shot at the character, not the character's sex. There's been other episode where Bart clearly says he has no intention of going to college.

Bart is a slacker. He hates school. It is based on this that Homer thinks that. Lisa is smart and loves school. I doubt that gender had anything to do with it.
