I'm taking a course in cultural anthropology and after having a short discussion with my professor she agreed to allow me to write my research paper on the over-arching topic and how it effects men, women, children and societies. I'm hoping to come at this by displaying the cross cultural universality of male disposability both contemporaneously and historically as an accepted practice and cultural perception of the male sex and how that has affected different demographics. I'm hoping I could tap this subreddit as a resource for citable information. Helping focus my research to relevant books and articles would allow me to find more information more quickly.
