Is the sale on women's items only or a discount on sales to women only? Huge difference.

Frankly I don't see the point in getting all butt-hurt about a sale on women's jeans.

It's economics and has nothing to do with legalities.

They had a surplus of stock on women's clothing. They need to get rid of it to make way for Spring fashions.

It happens all the time. In Australia at least, Target will have 25% off all womens clothing items, then 25% off all mens clothing items a few weeks later. They're not excluding you from their sale, they're excluding certain items from the sale. I'm sure if you went in by yourself to buy a handbag and a dress you would have had no issues.

Whether it is or not, that's a pretty retarded thing to do in the first place because let alone does it not encourage more men to shop their, it actually discourages the ones like yourself.

Women's clothing and accessories are more overpriced than men's in the first place because men are less gullible than women.

They could have an excess of women's-only stock (or any number of other economic reasons that have nothing to do with disenfranchising men).

Or maybe they've discovered that females go spend-crazy when the word 'sale' is mentioned. In which case, they are taking advantage of women, not men.

I wouldn't read too much into it, you'll go crazy and probably end up making up stuff in your head. Pick your battles.
