Very simple solution.

End discrimination against men in law, employment, education, the draft...vacate all and any feminist entities on our college campuses, hold such entities as the APA accountable for such attacks on men, level the playing field for men, and the problem ends.

Or we can continue to theorize, pontificate, write articles arguing "what if", until the crisis ends us.

The paranoid side of me wonders scanning through this article whether or not this 'sudden rise' in women's wages is due to feminism trying to enforce quotas at the expense of men preventing them from earning more money or advancing their careers.

Given how utterly paralysed industries are becoming because of these deranged activists purely from a business perspective it would not surprise me.

Haven't had a Male boss in 10 years. I'm in stem

You’re not paranoid. This is a real concern. Especially in light of the fact that men’s wages have been stagnant since the 80s and women’s wages have had such an enormous growth.

Nah its just the standard impact of starting from a low base (although healthcare may be having an impact).

They aren't. You've been reading too much MRA properganda.

Funny that because I was just reading a Washington Times article and doing the maths and feminist gender quotas especially are openly celebrated in the media and they frequently advocate for them.

Any particular reason you are choosing to read moonie's media?

I have a big problem with that. I am all in favor of women earning as much as they want, relative to men or not. Whether or not marriages decline when women earn more than men it is imperative that men as a group get a clear view of the true nature of women. Period.

The alternative - women perpetually earning less than men - means more of the same horrors we see today: women only wanting to marry men who earn more, women engaging in rampant hypergamy, and then taking advantage of the male alpha earner (Beta Bucks!!!) by stripping him for resources later after cheating on him and having kids with some side Chad. AKA Alpha lays, Beta pays.

Men have always been economically expendable, even when they earned more than women. Should men really want to be married to women who look at us as meat shields and walking wallets? I think not, really.

Also there is the fact that 38 percent of wives now out earn their husbands, a trend which is exposing more women to being stuck paying alimony when they get tired of their "under-providing" husbands.

If I were single and sitting across from my date at Buca Di Beppo I'd rather see her reaction if I earn less than her, than her reaction when I earn more. My risks with the former is she gets up and walks right away. The latter, if we get married, leaves me more vulnerable to a lifetime of victimhood via divorce fraud and paternity fraud.

The problem is how they earning more than men. If they earned it through work, then great. However, they earn more than men through welfare subsidy. They utilize government to rob money from men and give it to themselves. This is done through known direct welfare (section 8 housing, etc), but also through less well known forms of subsidy (work quotas, affirmative action, etc).

Women want to out-earn men? I don't have a problem with ambition. However, if that ambition is fulfilled by affirmative action, and reinforced by hypergamy ("I won't have a man who earns less than me as my partner" mentality), it's a recipe for disaster.

'Becoming expendable'.

BECOMING??!!

Brother, you're WAY too late to this party!

Washington Times? That's Sun Moon's publication. I would beware of them as a source for anything.

[–]Greg_W_Allan 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not that it would happen but if all the men involved in infrastructure went on strike for a couple of days we'd learn the hard way how economically expendable they are.

I dunno what happens when men are no longer inforcing laws Almost all female advancment exists behind rule of law if that goes so does any progress they have made
