Article about dating that I interviewed for is up.

This article addressed some of the root causes many articles on dating fail to. I was especially happy to see it address:

More women than men are going college, and these women still want to date up and be provided for, but obviously that’s not possible these days.
Men being labeled as creepy / MeToo:

So many articles discuss the fact fewer young people are dating, but they are afraid to delve into the real reasons why. I give this author credit for diving into the causes.

I wish she would have stated her points a little little more cohesively, especially the one I labeled as #2. Men showing an interest in women opens them up to being called creepy, being accused of sexual harassment or even kicked out of college.

While she made many relevant points, I found her article to be a little rambling and wish she really would have stated the issues a bit more directly especially for the sake of those reading about these for the first time.

Thanks for spending time with the author. Again, I do think this article hits on some important points most articles gloss over.

I do have one question. Do you mind that so many women (and men) are obese? For me it is a turn off. I doubt many people are actually attracted to obese people or either gender.

I think they have this backwards:

“Many men perceive themselves to be far less marriageable. And in turn, many women perceive them to be less marriageable, too.”
