The major problems with this motorcycle scene is that it's trying to push political pandering AND it's meant to be portrayed in a positive light. Those other movies the author refers to, the characters are flawed for their actions and have to push to be better people. With Captain Marvel, however, we are expected to root for her. This isn't supposed to be seen as a flawed moment.

There's no character development to be had here. She never learns her lesson or understands why what she did was wrong. In fact, this moment never comes up again. The so-called "hero" gets away with assaulting a pedestrian.

Although, I find it pretty ironic, people like this love to criticize anybody who remotely criticize this as fragile babies obsessed with comics, when they are the same ones who write entire articles and scrounge for twitter posts, complaining about the criticism.

Eh it was an okay movie. Would have been much better with a different lead though. Larson is just....boring

I can't wait for the sequel in which she is much older. A grocer tells her she stills looks stunning so she steals all his cat food.

Christ I was forced to watch that movie and every single second of it was pure pain. I mean I hate the actor but even everything else about it was terrible
