I'm outraged. I wanted to share my story with you and also ask for advice. Nothing serious happened but it's very frustrating.

There is a public bathhouse/SPA close in my area. I've been going there for a long time. In the evening, the main attraction are the seances. Most of us repeat customers come for mostly this, so that can mean waiting 15 minutes in queue and not even getting a good spot. So far a long standing rule was that women go inside first. I'm not a fan of that, but I've come to accept it. Some men are just rude and dumb and push into the door squishing everyone - would be very awkward to treat women like that. I myself think none of us deserve this treatment but these people are not removed from the establishment so whatever. I tried raising this as an issue but no action.

Today however, after a bit of a break, I find out there's a new gizmo. That is:

  • solo women first
  • women with their partners (pairs) second
  • colleagues of the organizer
  • then us regular folk

The seancemaster/saunameister even said that these women here brought their "uglies". We waited in that queue for a while and most didn't even get to enter. I barely got in and had the worst spot and I was closer than middle of the queue. Bro played some love music and kept making sexual jokes. I was going insane, and I didn't leave immediately only in respect to other guys to not let the steam out.

This shit so upsets me. I paid to be there, plus this is sponsored from our city taxes(a public foundation) and they treat us like that? I didn't realize this is a romance room or some sort of valentines attraction. I asked the guy if it was a special day or something or if he always does that now, and apparently this is the new normal. I'm thinking of writing a "stern letter" to the management and this is where you come in - if you have some good, short and witty arguments I can use to convince the management that this is below standard and just ridiculous(in a not funny way) I'd much appreciate it. I feel like single men are treated worse and worse. I've had good relations with that guy and know him by name, but from this day he is dead to me and I will do my best to bring him down and stop him from doing more seances. Thanks for reading.
