TUC general secretary Frances O'Grady said: "It is scandalous that millions of women still suffer a motherhood pay penalty.

"Many are forced to leave better-paid jobs due to the pressure of caring responsibilities and the lack of flexible working."

How Odd that they are not also calling for flexibility for MEN in the workplace - protection of male promotion if part-time working is chosen by MEN etc.

This article says it and so do many others.

"The reason women quit work and stay home is because child care is too expensive".

Which gender does most of the paid child care, "WOMEN".

So, essentially what these women want is for them to pay another women less money than they currently do to take care of a child that they chose to have so they can go to another job and make more money than the child care worker. The irony is so thick you couldn't cut it with a knife

I found it amusing to click on "other discussions" above and go browse through the comments in the two subs with 40+ comments, both of which are unrelated to mens rights.

That's a peek into what the general public more typically thinks about the "gender pay gap".

Encouragingly, the comments are almost universally negative towards this article in particular and gender pay gap claims in general. Lots of sentiments expressed similar to, "I am so sick of this lying propaganda".

Good. It's not only us who've run out of patience with feminists and their bullshit.

That could be solved by courts refusing to give custody to mothers who initiate divorce.
