When I was finally old enough to not be drafted, omg that was such a relief to me. I grew up in an America that was in constant war. Just constant, and I was terrified that I might be drafted. Such a fucked up system.

I'm trying to think of the last time in history things were so bad all the women had to run away and were even breaking their own legs to avoid what the government is doing. It's been a while. Could say Afghanistan but they were not really running away as much as they were assisted by the west and scooped up to save.

Just look at Iran vs Russia. Men are helping women protest in massive numbers (over clothing mind you, extremely stupid and sexist, but it pales in comparison from being sent to your death for a pointless war). In Russia, women are not really doing jack shit for men. I have seen extremely few women in any of the protesting photos. Must be all that emotional intelligence and empathy women have and men lack that is giving men the ability to see people need help and even jump into action for them.....
