I've been in STEM for 26 years and I have NEVER seen any sexual harrasment.

I saw one case of racial harrasment. The offender was fired the same day.

It's gotten to the point where I assume that the women who complain the loudest about discrimination are the worst at their jobs. Ellen Pao comes to mind. If you look at her career, it looks to me as if she hasn't experienced a setback in her life which wasn't brought-on or made worse by her SJW urges.

I have never seen anti-women bias in the STEM field but I have seen a lot of anti-male bias. For example, all of the tutor and summer research spots were women. Even though it was roughly 50/50, and yes I am jealous. I wanted a few of the research spots. I had to go out of the department to get any internship support. FYI: Fish and Wildlife and the USDA are great at accepting last minute internship requests.

The "gap" is feminist propaganda and politics.

It's interesting when such articles focus on one sector, but don't acknowledge other sectors where the gender ratio reflects the tech sector, such as teaching and that men are under represented in universities (I believe the ratio in US universities is 60/40 and this is a trend of the last thirty or forty years).

The more choice provides everyone to learn the subject of their choice and as such, you'll see a greater discrepancy in certain sectors.

If there's going to affirmative action within tech, then that means there also needs to be affirmative action for other sectors and within education where men are under represented.

It's a pity that basic ideas of how the world works have to be explained over and over in these kinds of articles. No, not all the men are the same, not all the women are the same, there are differences between people and certain things are more likely in women than in men, and vice versa and that's why women and men tend to live on average different lives, have different occupations. It's like as if the sports reporters explained over and over again that big boxers tend to be stronger than small boxers and that why small guys never win the heavyweight championship.

It’s funny how, when the demographic being targeted is changed, the arguments of certain feminists become indistinguishable from those of Donald Trump.

No, it's not, bigotry is bigotry regardless of the target. The problem is leftists believe feminist-style bigotry is unleashed upon deserving targets.
