Undoubtedly it is, but I gotta hand it to u/69beefboy that the wide acceptance of porn has gotta be at least in part due to the sexual revolution. If we were as prudish about sex as we were before the revolution, porn wouldn't be as widespread (That's not to say it wouldn't exist, but it would bre mote on the fringes than it currently is. God knows Pornhub couldn't act like your wacky uncle on Twitter.). For better or for worse, consumption of porn is most likely a byproduct of the sexual revolution.

The fact that most men I know still feel the need to hide their porn usage from their significant others says this is not the case.
There's been a wide acceptance of women's sexuality since the sexual revolution. Not so much for men's.

Eh, more accepting than it was before. I know how you mean, tough I'd argue it largely depends on context. In general most people don't go out of their way to talk about sex unless usually among friends. On porn, I think it's pretty much an obvious statement these days that most people watch or have watched porn. If you asked them and they were honest, the average person would say they've consumed porn. The idea that it's embarrassing to talk about seems largely a meme these days, like "I won't entertain the idea that porn is normal! wink wink nudge nudge. Who is more sexually liberated aside, I was just saying that porn is pretty widespread among internet culture and most people probably agree it's at worst not a big deal, and at best a good thing, even if they wouldn't shout as much from the rooftops. My point was that without the sexual revolution, we probably wouldn't even be there.
EDIT Oops, sorry to completely bulldoze your counter point. My bad. Yeah, hiding porn usage sucks, it's nothing to be ashamed of and it sucks that they probably would be chastised for it. That is certainly a societal issue within relationships. Still, we're leaps and bounds better off than before, and in some respects I'd say that applies to all genders.

Yes, you are right. Hookup culture and divorce rate has nothing to do with the fact that you play with yourself each night watching a different woman of your choice having sex in front of camera. That totally lends itself to a stable marriage with one woman for the rest of your life. I forgot, here at r/mensrights, it's always the woman's fault.
Been with the same women for 21 years, married for 16 with 3 kids. Our relationship is amazing and stable. I watch porn alone, she watches porn alone, and we both watch porn together. It's made us way more adventurous with our sex life. I'd have to say it has lent itself to a stable relationship with better sex.
The fact that so many people have problems with other people watching porn is what is really concerning.
