Redditors will make up some conspiracy theory to "explain" this, but the simple fact is a lot of people on the left have been childless since the 1970s, and a lot of people on the right are having kids at almost the same rate as they always have. And no, turning to atheism/liberalism isn't an "inevitable" part of growing up in America--even if you go to college. Plenty of Christian families I know have kids grow up to be just as devoutly religious as their parents.

Couple that with the fact that the migrants that have been entering the country from our southern border for the better part of 40 years now are often extremely socially conservative (think 1950s America conservative), and it's a recipe for "What the fuck did you think would happen if you did this to society?"

The future, gentlemen, is patriarchal. :D
