We do what we can.

Mostly this consists of removing hateful posts and comments, and banning the trolls who make them. We can only succeed in this if readers click on Report when they see abusive material, whether directed at men or women.

Most recently, Reddit admins have cautioned that brigading from this subreddit into other subreddits may lead to a ban. Accordingly, we no longer allow links to other subreddits. (The sidebar has yet to be updated - we're all part time volunteers).

The good news is that r/MensRights has lasted for 15 years. We hope it will continue.

Not really, I've already seen places on the internet that were seemingly rational quickly go down the tubes. All you can do is stand up for men and be honest and let the chips fall where they may.

Every place about a certain topic get harassed by bots and the ones which are against this topic. All it take is the topic to have people against it

The only place I never saw get brigaded is meme place, and still, if a meme about another community get posted, you can be damn sure there’s gonna be haters shitting on it

Yes. Keep discussions from devolving into diatribes against women or feminism, and be wary of provocateurs deployed here deliberately for that reason.

As a woman, witnessing the overt and sometimes even celebrated instances of sexism and discrimination against men today is deeply disheartening. I understand that my voice might not be what this group is looking for, but for what it's worth, there are women who genuinely value men and support men's rights.
