There's a lot of complexities to this, and how it could be done, but if abortion gives women freedom of choice, then would it not be fair to wager whether a father accepts financially supporting the child, in cases of women keeping a child, regardless of whether it was mutually agreed upon or not?

I've discussed the equivalence to some female friends of mine before, and wasn't received well at all, but it kind of felt respective of how insulting it must be to say women shouldn't allowed to have abortions.

Personally, I don't like theorizing on how best to become independent from one another, because I don't think it's flattering to either gender, but if we're all meant to be evolving equality, discussions need to be had.
