Do we even need to debunk this one? Its pretty well known that going to college is not three times more dangerous than living in the Rwandan genocide. On another article debunking it, the comments were all simply upset that the author would question the statistic. One thing that was really telling was a high up comment thread in which the person arguing against the article's point was:

Who cares if the statistic is bullshit? It supports something I support, so therefore it doesn't matter if its 100% true. Its misogynistic to spend your time fact checking sources that show injustice towards women.

Obviously not so blatant, but it was really nice to see them admit they are just playing statistical games to support their cause.

I'd hope we're spending as much time elevating male victimization as they do attacking these stats. The study being used has male numbers and if you don't know them read the damn study.
