You mean by calling the people who were calling me child abusers and rape apologists idiots? And let me guess, all of the intactivists remained, right? So your selective enforcement was 100% ideologically driven. Don't pretend to be for men's rights when you're only for your specific version of men's rights. It's not much of a loss as the discord is utter garbage and you guys don't know how to run it, but it really shows your bias. And you banned me when I wasn't even around so I had no chance to defend myself, which is completely cowardly. You know what's amazing about this is I am literally never the one who starts insulting people, however, I will respond more aggressively when people are aggressive towards me. And yet people like you will always ban people like me because I'm willing to take unpopular stances and you guys ban based on partisanship. You will never allow people who are not intactivists in your Discord if they have to deal with being called rape apologists and child abusers while you quickly ban me for responding by calling them an idiot. It's just so childish, and the double standard is so great, that you will literally not have any non-intactivists on your Discord. But that's how you want it, isn't it?

You speak like "act like an asshole" is an objective statement. It's not. I was defending my position from attacks from like 6 people at once, all of who were repeatedly calling me names. NONE of them got banned. So that's how banning only works when you take a position the moderator doesn't hold. There's a reason my comment was upvoted multiple more times than it was downvoted. There's a reason your Discord isn't liked. You don't know how to run one. You shouldn't go banning people just because you disagree with them, which is really what this was about. You used selective enforcement of rules because you disagreed with me. I was there for like 24-48 hours, so I didn't even have the time to "be an asshole" over an extended period of time. Whatever tough guy, enjoy your Discord with no people on it because anybody who takes a stance you don't like gets banned.

And you can't say this quote isn't the least bit concerning.

I used to do assembly-line circumcisions where we’d strap several babies to molded plastic restraining boards; they didn’t like being restrained, but by the time the last baby was restrained, the first one would usually have stopped crying and would often remain calm throughout the actual procedure, especially if he’d been given a sugar pacifier. Sometimes he’d even go to sleep. I used a Plastibell device: the actual cutting part of the procedure is painless even without anesthesia, because the tissue is already “dead” – the blood supply has been cut off by tying a string over the groove in the plastic ring. Studies have documented physiologic changes during the procedure, but it’s not clear that those changes mean anything that really matters to the child’s mental state or physical welfare. It’s current practice to inject an anesthetic, but that carries its own small risk and also causes pain: it’s not 100% clear whether we’re using it for the infant’s benefit or the adults’. Some doctors still wonder if it might be kinder to skip the anesthesia and just get the procedure over with and the baby back in Mom’s arms as quickly as possible. some abuse -atheist4thecause
