Reddit, Ive just received some pretty bad news. After petitioning to get half time custody of my youngest child, I have received the recommendation from the Court appointed evaluator.In essence, half time was not recommended. This is after 2 years of having my child more than the mom, fighting to get the court orders complied with by the other party and putting up with every cheap accusation under the sun (child abuse,molestation,domestic violence,trying to get child support not warranted) and thats the tip if the iceberg. I am not a great guy and have my flaws but I have given my heart and soul to be a good father. The real rub was after reading this document "objective" document,I realized I never had a chance. There was no attempt to be fair and my input was essentially discarded and I was made to seem like I had an axe to grind. I have court on Monday and feel like saying fuck it all do what you want and let me know after the fact.
