Do you guys also purposely avoid girls

I have noticed something weird during a few of my outings with respect to women/girls at bars.

Now, I can't get out much on account of having chronic pain.

But, what I observed made me think a bit.

During my time at these events, I took the time to watch a few things happening. Since I don't drink to get drunk anymore, I could observe things that I usually never would see.

What I noticed was a few very attractive girls alone, the whole night. It seemed like they wanted to meet someone, but no men attempted any interaction.

I had other things to do, meet the friends that I have left and such. Doing my best to keep up these friendships at the cost of pain.

Either way, what I seen made me wonder what was up.

In both situations, there were women who seemed to be into meeting other men. But no-one approached them. No-one attempted.

The last time was in a small bar, so I could hear some conversations. One has some men right next to me. In the conversations, you can tell these where single men looking to meet someone. Right across from us is this attractive woman. Sitting alone. Not to mention the female bartender who was getting hammered serving drinks. No attempt was made to meet these women. I could see the looks of the men. That look, those looks could explain how things are not the same as before.

I could also tell a couple of these men had women who of course, where in control of the relationship. The men seemed afraid of any contact with a new woman. The conversations, when woman where concerned, lead to the old stereotypical conversations about wives. Can't go out anymore, can't meet the friends for a brew, stuff like that. I have to say how close these tables are. haha. It was a small bar.

In another situation, there was a few woman doing the same thing at the bar. Sitting alone looking around. It seemed to me that these women did not get approached very much. So they left the place alone, well from what I could see.

Maybe they are lezbo's? I dunno. It seemed like they kept their eyes on the men there, not the women.

Is this something that happens elsewhere? Possibly.

Since I took the time to notice, this happened in the last three bars I went to.

Food for thought.

Edit: I neglected to add that I myself did not approach these women. Why? Well, it's complicated. 1) Women seem horribly out of touch with reality these days. 2) Most dress using sexuality as a starting point even if they are in a relationship. 3) All women in my life turned out to be horrible examples of the genders. Including my mother. 4) Staying with a woman for any length of time means I may have to relinquish half of whatever I own. 5) Because I live in cANADA, the laws are horrible in respect to due process and men. Men can no longer use video and computer evidence in rape cases, for example. This means ANY woman can charge me with rape even if there is video evidence of consent. Can you tell the crazy women from the sane ones? I bet you can't. 6) Most women who are interested are too young for me. (this bothers the hell out of me. Finding a fit woman my age has not been good. The majority are overweight and think this is attractive. It is not. It is most definitely not.) 7) My ex was supposed to be the one. The person I would spend time with forever. 20 years. Turns out she is batshit crazy. I lived with this person for 20 years and never really met her.

Ya, it's a bit complicated.

Do I avoid talking to them? No. Do I avoid flirting with, complimenting, or asking women out? Yes, something I've learned through painful experience. I appear weird and different, so I'm considered threatening. Only way I found to prevent anything from happening is to simply not say or do anything that can be considered flirtation.

No fren. That's not helping anyone. I can't stop you from avoiding women, but please think, and realize women don't all act the same, and avoiding them all for a few bad apples will only hurt you in the long run.

I understand u man. I get it. And im sure everyone hete does. But avoiding women is becoming increasingly undoable as they are in the work force and in schools. Youll need to work with them, work for them, etc... As more women go out and become part of mainstream sociery its simply unfeasable to avoid them.

I know its scary but u have to try ur best. Only associate with women when u have to. And u will have to alot.

You can't do that. You do that, you get labeled the weird loser afraid of girls, and you will be plotted against. You gotta be social with every one.
