One of the founding principles of the United States is that All Humans are Created Equal. During The Revolution, America defeated British Monarchy and proclaimed the principles of Freedom and Equality. During The Civil War, USA overcame the evil of Slavery. During World War II, USA helped the Soviet Union defeat Nazi Germany. Nazi ideology was based on inferiority of many birth groups. Over and over, those who stood for Inequality were on the losing side of History.

Unfortunately, many Progressives and a few Conservatives are promoting vilification of men. Hate speech against men appears daily in the Mainstream Media since 1990s. Since the Harvey Weinstein Scandal of 2017, many MSM articles are blaming all men for the faults of some. A few examples follow. The most respectable and popular Progressive newspaper The New York Times published "The Unexamined Brutality of the Male Libido" by Stephen Marche:

If you let boys be boys, they will murder their fathers and sleep with their mothers...

It is not morality but culture — accepting our monstrosity, reckoning with it — that can save us. If anything can.

A relatively large Liberal and Feminist publication VICE has published an article "It's Confirmed: Women are Higher Beings" which uses pseudoscience to show that men are innately selfish. Guardian published an article "Obama’s right, women are superior to men. Let me count the ways …". A senior Social Media manager of Allure magazine has tweeted that she would be "fine if we get to the point where there are no men in the world". She was not even reprimanded. Many MSM articles have pressured Facebook to accept hate speech against men -- such as "men are scum".

The widely accepted rhetoric claiming male inferiority and vileness produces a society in which discrimination against men is acceptable. Male offenders are more likely to be arrested, being arrested they are more likely to be convicted, being convicted, they get 63% longer sentences for the same crime as female offenders. Men are discriminated in Divorce cases. Male victims of Domestic Violence are arrested more frequently then helped.

For the first time since 1945, there is a society which finds demonization of a birth group acceptable. Many critics since 1990s have pointed out unfairness of such practice. I would like to consider this practice from another angle -- how hate speech against men undermines the whole society and leads to the rise of all kinds of extremism including misogyny.

First, by engaging in extremely hateful rhetoric, Progressives legitimize anyone who opposes them. Anyone includes those with offensive views. When Progressive media outlets publish articles claiming that a whole birth group must accept their monstrosity, they present themselves as the greatest evil since World War II. Feminist magazines whose senior managers joke about elimination of men present Feminism as a hate group. Hopefully, this is misrepresentation of Progressive and Feminist views. Hopefully, Progressives and Feminists who believe in Equality will speak up against bigots who spread hate in their name.

Meanwhile, more and more men realize that anyone who is disliked by misandrists is their friend. Conservatives including President Trump and Roy Moore have faults, but an enemy of our enemy is our friend. Even though many things said by Roosh Voreck are beyond offensive and plain wrong, he does speak against Misandry. His very offensiveness generates his site about 3 Million visits per month. Hopefully most men visiting his site will disagree with his extreme views, while appreciating his work against misandry. In my opinion, Roosh Voreck himself sees these views as a satire.

Second, when the ethical teachers of our generation publishes hate speech, it undermines all of Society's ethical principles. The Mainstream Media such as NYT is one of the main teachers of values and ethics for the whole Society. If someone this respectable violates ethical principles, then who is obligated to keep them?

Many of the 400,000 videos and texts produced by extreme sectors of the Menosphere contain offensive generalizations about women. Even though Social Media Giants are on the way to banning anything offensive to women, censoring Internet is impossible. For every closed avenue, two or three others will open. The number of such videos, audios, and memes is bound to grow. Their audience is bound to grow. Of course, making negative generalizations about an entire birth group is wrong. But should narrowcasters be held to higher moral standards then Media Giants? Moreover, holding men to higher moral standards then women is not equality.

Many articles are ordering men to police sexist comments made by their male friends. The Variety article "Men Must Step Up to Change the Hollywood Culture That Enabled Harvey Weinstein" has a list of instructions for men. Every man is free to take on the duty Unpaid Speech Police Officer, but it would be wiser for us to concentrate on hate directed at us first.
